Summer Swimming

We went and watched Camryn and Connor at their final swim meet of the summer. They were great! It was the same swim meet that I use to swim in and I found myself reminiscing about some awesome races - I miss those close relays!

Birthday Party!

My nephew Connor had the perfect birthday party for and 8 year old boy. They watched Indiana Jones outside via projector and then had a sleep over in the backyard in tents. Some of the dads spent the night too! We stopped by to check out the fun and Thad had so much fun hanging out with the big kids. Happy birthday Connor!

Summer!

We have been enjoying our summer so much that I have not had time to blog. Thad has been busy swimming, hanging out with friends & cousins and attending summer preschool. Here are some of our fun summer pics!

Brecken & Thad

While in Illinois, we stayed with Pat's friend Ryan and his wife Carey. Thanks again! Their little boy, Brecken, is 10 months old and he and Thad loved playing together.

Happy 50th Anniversary!

We went back to Illinois for Pat's grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary. They had a great party with lots of family and friends and we are so happy we were able to be there for the celebration!

Busy December

We had a busy December...trip to Illinois, Thad's first birthday, my birthday, family visiting, Christmas and lots of parties! And wow was it fun! I will try to get up to date over the next few days.

Halloween

Thad was a skeleton for Halloween.

He helped carve pumpkins and daddy even took him trick-or-treating with his cousins!

Apple Hill

In October we made our annual trip up to Apple Hill for our fall fix of apple pie and pumpkins. We got some rain that day but it did not stop us from tailgating with some warm apple crisp!

G-Ma's Visit

G-Ma came to visit for a long weekend.

Summer in Tahoe

We had to skip family camp this year due to a flu outbreak at camp (yikes)! Instead we took a last minute trip to Tahoe. Tahoe is so fun in the summer! We spent a long week in Squaw Valley and went hiking, hung out at the beach and enjoyed the outdoors. Both of our families were there, as well as some great friends - it was fun spending time together. Our trip was wonderful with the exception of Thad's sleeping. He went from sleeping through the night to waking up every couple hours. It made for some tired parents! Everything made sense when we got home and two bottom teeth appeared - one right after the other. Poor guy!

A Barbecue for Pat's big 3-2!

We celebrated Pat's 32nd b-day with a bbq with a bunch of friends. We had a great time! So many of our friends have babies now - it was fun to get the kids together!

Swimming Play Date

We had a play date with two of my favorite friends and two of my favorite babies! Thad showed off his swimming moves. He loves impressing the ladies!
