Angels Camp

We went up to Angels Camp for the weekend. I don't take many pictures anymore (too busy) and the ones I do take don't turn out that great (Thad too wiggly). : ) It was beautiful and we had a great time...you are just going to have to take my word for it. : )

Labor Day Weekend Camping at Salt Point

We went camping on the coast at Salt Point over Labor Day. We had such a great time and got lucky with some beautiful weather! Thad LOVES camping and hanging out with other kids!

PS Thad got another tooth on our camping trip. He was sticking out his tongue a lot and then we realized it was because he was feeling his new tooth with his tongue! Ha! 3 teeth total and more on the way!

First Camping Trip

Thad went on his first camping trip! He loved it! We have some friends that are white water raft guides and they invited us on their American River rafting/camping trip. Everyone had a great time on the river and and the non-rafters had fun hanging out at the campsite for the day. Thad and his 1 1/2 month old friend Annie did great sleeping in tents - the outdoors really agreed with them. Can't wait to go again soon!!

Summer in Tahoe

We had to skip family camp this year due to a flu outbreak at camp (yikes)! Instead we took a last minute trip to Tahoe. Tahoe is so fun in the summer! We spent a long week in Squaw Valley and went hiking, hung out at the beach and enjoyed the outdoors. Both of our families were there, as well as some great friends - it was fun spending time together. Our trip was wonderful with the exception of Thad's sleeping. He went from sleeping through the night to waking up every couple hours. It made for some tired parents! Everything made sense when we got home and two bottom teeth appeared - one right after the other. Poor guy!

Hawaii 2010

Our first trip to Hawaii with Thad was wonderful! We can't wait to bring him back when he is older so he can swim, snorkel and discover Hawaii a little more. We had a great week in Waikiki with my parents. We spent time on the beach, at the pool and we even did some sight-seeing. Thad was great on the 5 hour plane rides - he has become quite the traveler. We love to take him new places and can't wait for our next adventure!

Carmel Weekend

Last weekend we went to Carmel and had a couples weekend to celebrate the upcoming wedding of my dear friend Lindsey and her fiance Lane. It was a beautiful weekend filled with good company, cute babies and fun times. I love my friends soooo much! Can't wait for your big day Lindsey and Lane!

Thad's First Trip to Tahoe

A few weeks ago we took Thad up to Tahoe for family weekend in the snow. We all had a great time. Pat and Michele went skiing with the kids and we got to see some relatives, but mostly we just hung out at the cabin and enjoyed each other's company.
Oh... and the most exciting event of the weekend was that saw a big bear. It was very exciting! We checked out the prints the next day and it was a big bear!

Family Time

We had a great Richards family weekend. We spent most of the weekend at the beach and at the pool. What could be better? We also celebrated a big birthday - my big brother's 40th! Happy b-day Mark - we had so much fun hanging out!

Schmitty & Family

Our good friends from Pat's grad program, the Schmitts, recently moved to San Clemente. We are so happy they found a place that is perfect for such an ocean loving family. Can't wait to visit you again in your beautiful new beach town!
