Thad and I went to Benihana for lunch today with my sister, her kids, her mother-in-law (Nana) and my mom. It was so yummy. Thad was recruited to throw knives, but I think we will wait a few years for that. : )

One Month Old
Thad is one month old. Wow - time flies when you are having fun! He had his one month check-up with the pediatrician. He is a healthy growing boy. He now is 10 lbs 6 ozs and 23" long!
Some things Thad is doing (besides eating, sleeping and dirtying diapers...ha!)
- He smiles at mommy and daddy, usually when we get him up from a nap.
- He has laughed in his sleep a few times. It is so funny! What is he dreaming about?
- He does "tummy time" a few minutes a day. He can only lift his head for a few seconds, but he can move it from right to left to follow a toy.
- He snores and makes lots of noises - sometimes he sounds like a flock of geese : )
- He loves to look at everything at the grocery store.
- When he wakes up he stretches with both arms overhead.

UCSF Check-Up
On Wednesday Pat had a great check-up with Dr. Schmidt at UCSF. It has been 1 year and 4 months since Pat's surgery and he is healthy & looking great! We brought Thad to the appointment and it was really special for him to meet the doctor who saved his daddy's life. : )

Rub A Dub Dub
Thad enjoyed his first bath. It was essential that he enjoy it seeing as he is going to be a swimmer like mommy. He enjoyed it so much he almost fell asleep! Ha!
