Sedona & Flagstaff

While in Arizona we were able to take a trip up to Sedona and Flagstaff. It is so beautiful up there! It was fun to take Thad back to where it all started. Pat and I started dating our last year at Northern Arizona University in 2000 - wow that was a long time ago. Thad also got to see snow for the first time, I think he was ready to put on some skis. : )

Arizona

We took our first trip as a family and visited Pat's mom and grandmother in Arizona. We were able to see a lot of our family and friends, but like always we did not get to see everyone. Sorry if we missed you. We had a great time and look forward to our next trip to the desert. Next year I am pushing for a week in March so we can enjoy warmer weather and some spring training games!

Thad & Bea Sitting in a Tree...

The secret is out, Thad has a girlfriend. Our "Sunday Sundae" friends, Matt and Katie had baby Bea 3 days after Thad was born. Bea is such a sweetie and oh so cute! Thad and Bea held hands for Valentine's Day. I could tell they both were smitten. ; )

2 Months Old

Our big boy is two months old. He is growing and learning everyday. It is so much fun! Here are somethings he is up to:

• He does a lot of "talking". Things like - ohhhh, ahhhh, woahhhh. It is fantastic!
• He smiles a lot - no laughing yet, but we are working on it.
• He not only sucks his thumb, but all his fingers get a little nibble daily.
• He now wears a size 3 diaper! Big boy.
• Yesterday Grandma stuck her tongue out at Thad and he copied her! Ha!
  

We have his 2 month check up tomorrow and I can't wait to find out how much he weighs! Any guesses? My guess is 15 lbs.

Update - he weighed 13 lbs! Yay!

Be My Valentine

We had a great Valentine's Day. It was a beautiful day so all three of us went to the Lafayette Reservoir, took a walk and spent some time outside. That night Auntie Michele babysat and Pat and I saw a movie. We missed our little guy, but it was nice to go on a date. Thanks Michele!

Thumb Sucker

Thad has discovered his thumb! Uh-Oh.

Superbowl Sunday

Our Superbowl Sunday was spent with great friends at a fun party. We ate lots of yummy food and hardly watched the game - it was perfect! Everyone at the party loved Thad and his football outfit.
